Tyre Business Denmark

Dækbranchen Danmark (Tyre Business Denmark) is the umbrella organisation for the entire Danish tyre industry, and we represent the interests of our members in the Association of Tyre Specialists, the Tyre Importers' Association and the Association for Danish Tyre Retread Manufacturers.

In addition, Dækbranchen Danmark also serves as the secretariat for the Tyre Industry Environmental Fund and the Danish Tyre Safety Council, and publishes Dækmagasinet (The Tyre Magazine).

Tyres are a vehicle's most important safety component, so it is of utmost importance that they are always in top condition. If the vehicle does not have grip on the road surface, the active safety systems are of little help.

- we take tyres seriously!

We represent:

Dæk Specialisternes Landsforening
Dækbranchens Miljøfond
Dækimportørforeningen
Rådet for Større Dæksikkerhed
Dækmagasinet
Fabrikantforeningen

Read about the new rules on the Danish Tyre Safety Council's website.

Fees on tyres

Fees on tyres

Companies that import tyres from abroad with a minimum section width of 5 inches or a minimum rim diameter of 8 inches must pay a fee to the tax authorities.

The fee rate depends on the type and size of the tyre.

Detailed descriptions of the rules can be found in the tyre fee regulation (English version) and at the Danish Tax Agency.
